Even though the networks control the time they broadcast games

they are still competing with other networks. So if people on the East Coast or Central are more likely to watch either an ACC, Big Ten, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas, or SEC game, then it may not matter what the Pac-12 broadcasts on its network.
